CHENNAI: The Kandasamy crew is all ready to get on their roller-coaster ride, with shooting set to start for the Vikram-Shriya starrer being directed by Susi Ganesan on Monday. Shooting will begin in Chennai, before the hectic schedule takes the crew to Hyderabad, Italy and Kenya. In Chennai, Susi Ganesan says, the shooting has been scheduled at the Race Course in Guindy, and it might go on for 15 days. After that it will be 15 days in Hyderabad before the team goes abroad.
Kandasamy has probably had the most flashy pre-shooting publicity drive in recent Kollywood history. The costumes for the stars and the support artists of the trailer itself were procured from Bangkok, Malaysia and Italy, the director says. The movie is all set to be Vikram’s Tamil New Year’s Day release in 2008.
