Walkathon for cancer care today

Manipal: The Manipal University’s Volunteer Services, in association with KMC International Centre, and Manipal Foundation, will organise a walkathon/marathon of about 5 Km. in the university campus on Sunday.

A press release issued here stated that there would be a registration fee of Rs. 160 for the walkathon which is inclusive of registration, a t-shirt, and refreshments. Registration fee without t-shirt is Rs. 75. The proceeds of the event will go to cancer care. The walkathon/marathon will begin from university building at 8.30 a.m., pass through End Point, MIT campus, Venugopal Temple Road, Planetarium Road, and culminate at the university building.
