Vakapalli victims depose before magistrate

VISAKHAPATNAM. The alleged gangrape victims from Vakapalli near Paderu on Saturday deposed before a magistrate at Chodavaram.

In their statements, they alleged that Greyhounds personnel raided their village and later committed the sexual assault on them.

In another case, the One Town Police on Saturday arrested Ch. Mutyalu, 22, on the charge of kidnapping a minor girl from Chilakapet.

On receipt of a complaint from the father of the 17-year-old girl that she had been taken to Vijayawada, the police laid a trap and arrested the accused.
