Society earns profit

The Musiri Taluk Cooperative Institutions Employees Cooperative Society has netted a profit of Rs.4.25 lakh during the financial year 2006-07 and disbursed Rs.1.69 lakh as dividend at the rate of 14 per cent to its members, its special officer S. Kumarasundaram has said. Speaking at the bank’s general body meeting held at Musiri recently, Mr. Kumarasundaram said the Society had disbursed loans to the tune of Rs. 40 lakh to its members during the last financial year.
