Selection competition

A district level selection competition to choose participants for the National Women’s Games, 2007-08 will be conducted at the Anna Sports Stadium in the city on October 30. The selection is for sports including shuttle badminton, table tennis, swimming, athletics, kabbadi, handball, basketball, gymnastics and kho kho. Those from schools, colleges, working women and those from sports bodies can take part in the selection. There is no age bar. More information can be obtained from the District Sports Officer, Tiruchi in the telephone number (0431- 2420685), a press release from the District Sports Officer S. Puniamurthy here said.
