Kochi: The tenth All Kerala Chinmaya Vidyalaya Oratorical Contest for the Swami Chinmayananda ever-rolling trophy was held at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Thripunithura, recently. The team from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Pallavur, comprising of Jishnu C. and Nithin M.P. bagged the trophy. The first, second, and third prizes for individual speakers went to Abhinav Ajaykumar of C.V., Thripunithura; Bhavana S.N. of C.V., Kannur, and Sruthi Kalluri of C.V., Vaduthala.

Kochi:The CBSE south zone taekwondo competition will be held at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, on October 30 and 31. Around 400 participants from 40 teams are expected to participate.

Kochi:Aryadatha K.R., a student of Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, has been selected under the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2007, in Carnatic music (violin).

Kochi:Sankar Dinesh Kamath of Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya has secured the first place in the State-level water-colour painting competition organised by the Department of Forests and Wildlife in connection with Wildlife Week celebrations.

Kochi: Chinmaya Vidyalayas from Thiruvananthpuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, and Ernakulam districts participated in Chinmaya Sargotsav, held at Fine Arts Hall, Ernakulam.
