Exhibition on Malayalam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An exhibition titled ‘Malayalam-Yesterday, Today’ will be inaugurated at the VJT hall at 11 a.m. on Monday by Minister for Cooperation G. Sudharakan. The exhibition is being organised by the University of Kerala ahead of the conference on Malayalam being organised by the University as part of its ‘Suvarna Keralam’ celebrations.

The evolution of the Malayalam language from its most ancient forms to its ‘cyber versions’ will be on display at the exhibition that will be on till November 3. The International Centre for Kerala Studies, the Oriental Research Institute and Manuscripts Library, the State Archives Department, C-DIT, C-DAC, IIITM-K, Web Lokam, IT@School and the Free Software Foundation are participating in the exhibition.
