‘Education bandh’ in Kottayam today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has called for an ‘education bandh’ in Kottayam district on Monday in protest against the police “wrongly” targeting its supporters for the death of a police officer in Changanassery during a clash between two groups of students at the NSS Hindu College there. In a press release here on Sunday, ABVP State secretary V.P. Rajeevan said no State government agency could be depended upon to conduct a fair inquiry into the Changanassery incident.
