Muzaffarnagar: A man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court here for killing a person at Barla village in the district eight years ago. Besides being sentenced to life the accused, Nisar, was also fined Rs.3,000 by the Additional District Sessions Judge Vir Singh Rana. According to the prosecution Nisar along with three others also accused in the case, shot dead one Dinesh Kumar who was a witness in a case in January, 1999. While one of the accused died during the trial two of them are still absconding.
