Foreign varsities put up stalls at education fair

CHENNAI: A world of opportunities in higher education was unveiled at Hotel Ambassador Pallava, Egmore, here on Saturday.

Universities from Scotland, the United States and France offer courses in hotel management, animation, engineering and communication. The fair is organised by Education Worldwide. The Indian Armed Forces and the Indira Gandhi Open University are among the 28 exhibitors at the fair. Consultants in overseas education and a bank to provide education loans are on hand to give students and parents counselling and financial assistance.Education Worldwide is headquartered in Delhi and has organised up to 80 fairs over the last five years in several cities across the country. The organisation has come to Chennai for the sixth time with this fair.

“Students at any level will find opportunities in further education here,” said Sanjay Singh, Deputy Manager, Education Worldwide.
