HYDERABAD: Senior BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday warned the Centre against resorting to “any misadventure” and delay the formation of a “popular government” in Karnataka. He told a press conference here that Governor Rameshwar Thakur had no other option but to send a report recommending revocation of the President’s rule and wanted the Centre to act immediately on it. Mr. Naidu urged the Governor to invite B.S. Yedyuruppa to form the government and give him time to prove majority. He said the BJP and JD(S) were ready to present their MLAs jointly before the Governor. If the situation warranted, “we will take the MLAs to Delhi also,” he declared. He asked the Centre to follow democratic principles in installing a government in Karnataka.
