Bata India records growth in Q2

CHENNAI: Bata India has achieved growth in the second quarter ended September 30, 2007. The net profit is higher by 56.3 per cent at Rs. 9.50 crore against Rs. 6.10 crore in the corresponding period in 2006-07. The turnover is higher by 15.7 per cent at Rs. 206.60 crore against Rs. 178.60 crore. — Corporate Reporter
