IFFI curbs number of delegates

PANAJI: In its bid to avert the inconvenience suffered by the delegates while viewing films at the film festival, the organisers of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) have decided to restrict the number of delegates for the upcoming IFFI to 5,000.

A decision to this effect was taken on Monday at the meeting of the General Council of the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), a State-owned body which organises the IFFI with the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF), under the auspices of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B). The IFFI will be held here from November 23 to December 3.
