Memorable day for Madras Blues

CHENNAI: Madras Blues won the Chennai Hockey Association first division league title with a 2-1 win over Southern Railway ‘B’ here on Monday.

Sunil opened the account for Madras Blues through a field goal in the 13th minute and Balaji made it 2-0 six minutes later by converting a penalty stroke.

Sugedu reduced the margin for Southern Railway ‘B’ four minutes into the second half.
