COIMBATORE: The 28th convocation of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will be held on November 13.
According to a release, Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram will be the chief guest and distribute the degree certificates. Governor of Tamil Nadu and Chancellor of the university Surjit Singh Barnala will preside.
Minister for Agriculture and Pro-Chancellor Veerapandi S. Arumugam will distribute the prizes and medals. Minister for Rural Industries Pongalur N. Palanisamy will release the university publications.
The degree of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) will be conferred on G.S.V. Raghavan, Professor, McGill University, Canada.
