Exhibiting the work of ‘wanderers’
Staff Reporter
Intrepid: A photograph by Ashish Vanjari.
Bangalore: “Musafir” is the title that four self-professed ‘wandering photographers’ have given to their exhibition which will be held here between November 2 and 4.
Captured through their lenses are their adventures in dusty deserts, their discoveries of new places, their meetings with people, and their journey of self-discovery.
The exhibition is something of a “photographic odyssey of the mind, body and soul,” for each of the photographers.
Vinayak Das is an avid traveller who specialises in documentary and people photography and enjoys working with natural light.
Sunil Kumar takes his inspiration from nature and his works reflect his interest in wildlife, landscapes, portraits and urban decay. Debanjan Das Gupta enjoys “unravelling the emotions embodied within simple compositions”.
His interests range from landscape, nature and history to abstract elements.
Ashish Vanjari is an intrepid traveller whose journeys unfold through his pictures.
The exhibition will be held at hall No. 4 at Chitrakala Parishat, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
