19 IAS and 26 IPS officers transferred in Rajasthan

Jaipur: In a major administrative reshuffle in Rajasthan, 19 IAS and 26 IPS officials were transferred.

According to an official communique, chairman of State Civil and Appeal Tribunal, B.P. Arya has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Food and Civil supplies and Consumer Grievance department, Environment, Small industries and president of Rajasthan Pollution Control Board.

The Government, in a late night decision, has moved Principal Secretary R.R. Haldia from Forest and Khadi Gramyodyog to Environment and Pollution Control Board.

Others in the rank of Principal Secretaries who were given new postings include Asha Singh and Umrao Salodia, the official release declared on Tuesday.

Nalini Johari, who was under Awaiting Posting Orders (APO), was appointed as the CMD of Spinfed while Secretary Home (security) B.L. Arya was appointed as Divisional Commissioner of Jaipur.

The others who were transferred include Madhukar Gupta as Managing Director of Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation, Jaipur, Siaram Meena as Commissioner of Rozgar Guarantee Yojana, Prem Singh Mehra as Administrative Secretary (Forest department), Vinod Kapoor as Administrative Secretary, Tribal Development department, Niranjan Kumar Arya as Divisional Commissioner, Jaipur and Sanjay Malhotra as Administrative Secretary at Personnel department in the State Capital.

On the other hand, about 26 IPS officers were also transferred by the Raje government. Director General of Police Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) P.K. Tiwari was appointed as DG Jails, while DG Jails K.S. Bens was appointed as DG (ACB).

H.C. Meena was appointed as DG home and public security while Additional DG, Programme and Welfare Omendra Bhardwaj was appointed as Additional DG, police headquarters.

Additional DG, police headquarters H.C. Devrajan was made Additional DG, Programme and Welfare and Additional DG, traffic police Navdeep Singh was appointed as the ADG, Training. -- PTI
