Correspondent

VIZIANAGARAM: Bharat Cultural Integration Committee (BCIC) in association with Madras Telugu Academy and in coordination with HPCL (Visakh Refinery) is conducting platinum jubilee sfestival, Spirit of Unity Concerts for Universal Integration, at Police Stadium in Visakhapatam on November 16, 17 and 18, according to T.V.K. Sastry, founder-convenor of the twin organisations.

At a Press conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Sastry said the first day of the festival was dedicated to late Rajiv Gandhi as his last breathe of life was in Visakhapatnam where he addressed meeting during whirlwind tour.

The second day marks the 82nd birthday celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba and the third day was earmarked for Balaji Sangeet Kalyanotsav.

Mr. Sastry said the objective of organising the programme was to spread the message that music and culture alone could bring about national and emotional integration.

Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy, MLA, while assuring Mr. Sastry of coordination and assistance appealed to him to conduct the programme next year in the fort town.

R.V. Sujayakrishna Ranga Rao, Bobbila MLA, Sunkari Prabhakar Rao, vice-chairman of BCIC , P.V. Narasimha Raju, president of Prema Samajam, and others spoke.
