Mullappally blames Minister

MALAPPURAM: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) vice-president Mullappally Ramachandran has accused Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Praful Patel and his Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) of torpedoing the progress of Calicut International Airport at Karipur. Inaugurating a march to the airport organised by the Kerala Pradesh Pravasi Returnees Congress at Karipur near Kondotty on Monday, Mr. Ramachandran asked why Karipur was not considered even when foreign airlines were given permission to operate from airports such as Coimbatore. He said the Union Minister and his party were deliberately neglecting Karipur.
