Idols missing from temple in Sankagiri

SANKAGIRI: Three idols were found missing from a temple in Akkammapet here and are suspected to have been taken away on Monday night.

Police said residents in the village found the doors of Murugan temple broken open and informed the police.

Police personnel found the idols of Lord Ayyappan and Goddesses Deivanai and Valli missing and registered a case. Further investigation is on.
