World Thrift Day observed

NEW DELHI: The National Savings Institute (NSI) organised a State-level function to observe World Thrift Day at the Rajendra Bhawan Trust auditorium here on Tuesday.

NSI Regional Director P.C. Ekka welcomed the dignitaries who included Delhi Finance Minister A.K. Walia, Principal Secretary (Finance and Planning) V. V. Bhat and NSI (Delhi) Joint Director Mir Azmat Ali. Dr. Walia also awarded prizes to the best post offices which have opened the maximum accounts.
