IMSACON 2007 in Manipal

Manipal: The annual conference of International Medical Sciences Academy titled “IMSACON 2007” will be held in Manipal on November 2 and 3.

Speaking to presspersons here on Tuesday, the Pro-Chancellor of Manipal University, H.S. Ballal, said that the International Medical Sciences Academy (IMSA) is an organisation of medical specialists of national and international repute. There are 2,000 Fellows and members from multiple medical specialties from different parts of the world. The academy has its world headquarters in New Delhi. There are chapters of the academy in the U.S., the U.K., Australia and many countries in Asia. “IMSACON 2007” is being hosted by Manipal University this year. Nearly 160 delegates from India and abroad will be attending the conference. The conference theme is “Frontiers of Medicine in 21st Century”. It will be inaugurated by MLC V.S. Acharya on November 2.
