U.P. Assembly adjourned after condolence meeting

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday adjourned for the day after paying tributes to the sitting Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Upendra Tewari, who died recently.

Moving the condolence resolution, Chief Minister Mayawati lauded Tewari’s services to the people of Bilgram constituency.

The members later observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul after which the Speaker adjourned the House.
