Moderate rainfall in Karur

KARUR: Sun shone brightly while some areas of Karur district experienced low to moderate rainfall over the past two days.

The district received an aggregate of a meagre 20.60 mm rainfall in the 24 hours ending 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The chief amounts of rainfall (in mm) recorded in important locations across the district are as follows: Mayanur 8.2, Krishnarayapuram 8 and Karur 4.4 mm.
