Salwan Boys wins

NEW DELHI: Half-centuries by Akash Chaudhary and Sandeep Kaushik helped Salwan Boys School (Rajender Nagar) to a 55-run victory over AGDAV School (Model Town) in the final of the Boost Cup under-17 cricket tournament here on Tuesday.

Akash was adjudged the Man of the Match and Yatharth Tomar was declared the Man of the Tournament.

The scores: Salwan Boys 236 for five in 50 overs (Akash Chaudhary 75, Sandeep Kaushik 56, Sandeep Vicky 31) bt AGDAV 181 in 49.5 overs (Sachin Saraswat 51, Manpreet Singh 30, Shashank Negi 28).
