Dies in freak accident

TIRUCHI: A loadman who sustained injuries after an oil barrel fell on him at Palayam Bazaar in Woraiyur in the city a few days ago succumbed at the Government Hospital here on Monday.

Police sources said D. Ramesh Kumar (27) was loading oil barrels in a lorry when one of the barrels accidentally slipped and fell on his chest causing injuries to him. He was admitted at the Government Hospital. The Woraiyur police have registered a case.
