Sudarsanam condemns attack on Krishnasswamy

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (I) treasurer and Congress Legislature Party leader in the Assembly D. Sudarsanam on Tuesday condemned the “murderous attack” on TNCC President M. Krishnasswamy near Paramakudi.

He told a press conference at Sathyamurthy Bhavan here: “Doctors attending on Mr. Krishnasswamy have said he is out of danger. However, he has been kept under closer observation in the intensive care unit”. Mr. Sudarsanam said he had conveyed the news to Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, who directed senior police officers in Madurai to take immediate action.
