Train passengers drugged, robbed

Kollam: Four Kerala-bound passengers travelling by an Express train from Mumbai, ended up in hospital here on Tuesday, after drinking some juice offered by fellow-travellers.

They lost some of their belongings too.

The duped passengers were said to have swooned after they drank the juice while the train passed Renigunta in Andhra Pradesh. By the time they recovered, the strangers had escaped. A passenger, Vijayaraghavan Nair, said he lost his mobile phone and purse containing Rs 1,500. —PTI
