Rs.21.09 crore for dairy development

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Union government has approved dairy development projects costing Rs.21.09 crore for Kerala. It also sanctioned Rs.4.62 crore as advance for implementation of projects aimed at achieving self-sufficiency in milk production, following discussions Minister for Food and Civil Supplies C. Divakaran had in Delhi on Monday. These projects are to be taken up in the Malabar, Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram. — Special Correspondent
