Sonia to launch campaign from Anand

NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi will launch the party’s election campaign from Anand, Gujarat. She will address a convention of Mahila Congress there on November 3.The party is yet to take a decision on admitting seven BJP rebel MLAs, who have differences with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

According to party general secretary in-charge of Gujarat B.K. Hari Prasad, the party is likely to take a decision on November 2 or 3.

This will be ahead of a meeting of the screening committee, headed by A.K. Antony, on November 5 and 6 for selection of candidates.
