Knee surgery for Sharif’s wife

New Delhi: The former Pakistan Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif’s wife Kulsoom underwent knee surgery at Fortis Hospital here on Tuesday.

The knee replacement surgery was performed by Dr. Ashok Rajgopal on 56-year-old Kulsoom, who was admitted on Sunday.

Fortis chairman Dr. Shavinder Mohan Singh said, “patient information is confidential and we do not comment on it.” Hospital sources said the operation was carried out successfully and she was recuperating. — PTI
