Bank staff stage protest

Raichur: Members of the district units of the State Bank of Hyderabad Employees’ Union and the Associated Bank Officers’ Association staged a dharna here on Wednesday protesting against the proposal to merge associated banks with the State Bank of India. Transactions came to halt in all the branches of the State Bank of Hyderabad and the State Bank of Mysore in the city on account of the protest.
