Memorandum submitted to Deputy Commissioner DAVANGERE: A large number of workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party took out a procession here on Wednesday urging Governor Rameshwar Thakur to invite the party to form the government in the State immediately. Slogans raisedLed by Davangere district unit president of the party Shivayogi Swamy, they raised slogans against the Congress for allegedly pressurising the Governor and trying to prevent the formation of a Bhartiya Janata Party -Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government again. Later, the protesters submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner in this regard. Government formationThe Bharatiya Janata Party, which enjoys the support of the Janata Dal (S), should be invited to form the Government, they said.
