Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Chandy Oommen, son of former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, was appointed Delhi State general secretary of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) on Wednesday.

“I am grateful to the party high command for this appointment. We are very happy that Rahul Gandhi has taken the charge of both the NSUI and the Indian Youth Congress. The youth look up to him and under his leadership we will progress more. We have complete confidence in him,” he said.
