Programme for special people

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: In a bid to tap latent talent in mentally disabled people, Cadabam is organising “Anvesha 2007” on November 3 at the R.V. Dental College auditorium, J.P. Nagar.

Achievers

The programme is being conducted to educate the public that some among the participants could be achievers if only they were given the opportunity, Sunil M.R., a doctor working with the organisation, told presspersons here on Tuesday. As many as 100 mentally disabled people from 30 different voluntary psycho-social rehabilitation centres of Karnataka would participate in the event, Dr. Sunil said.

The programme consists of skits, quiz, “antakshari” and painting competitions, he said.

Trophy

The best team would be honoured with a rolling trophy.

Individual prizes would be given for the participants, Dr. Sunil said.
