Two Congress activists held

CUDDALORE: The police arrested two Congress functionaries - Ramakrishnan, district vice-president, and Asokan, youth wing leader - on charges of damaging public property on Tuesday. The police said the party cadres led by the two had damaged four STC buses. They were protesting the attack on Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president M. Krishnasswamy at Muthukulathur.

The partymen held a protest rally at Chidambaram.
