One killed in bus accident

Rourkela: A woman was killed and 15 others were injured, seven of them critically, when a bus overturned at Gopalpur, 30 km from here on Thursday, police said.

The bus bound for Bonai from here overturned and rolled about 12 feet down the road while negotiating a sharp turn, police said. Seven passengers were referred to the government hospital here, with critical injuries while the rest were treated in nearby hospitals. The victim was identified as Jambubati Padhi. -PTI
