Kanpur: The district administration has ordered a magisterial inquiry against the staff of a hospital here after two pregnant women died allegedly due to medical negligence. The police said two pregnant women Devrati and Kamla had come for delivery at Community Health Centre (CHC) in Akbarpur near here on Wednesday. According to the family members of two women, the hospital staff asked for money to perform operation. After families refused to pay, the doctors allegedly performed the operation in a negligent manner resulting in the death of both women, police added.
