Gastroenteritis: 25 discharged

RASIPURAM: Over 25 residents of Pachudaiyampalayam village near here who have been undergoing treatment for suspected symptoms of gastroenteritis have been discharged on Thursday.

About 50 people were admitted to hospitals on Tuesday and Wednesday with the suspected symptoms of gastroenteritis. The remaining people are still in the hospitals. The residents complained of vomiting and dysentery and were admitted in the Rasipuram Government Hospital and Namakiripet Primary Health Centre..
