Convicts seek judgment copy in Tamil

Coimbatore: Life-term convicts in the Coimbatore serial blasts cases, Syed Ahmed Basha and Kitchan Buhari, have sought the judgment copy in Tamil.

They have petitioned Superintendent of Prisons S. Rajendran and it has been forwarded to the Judge of the Special Court, prison sources said. Both are already serving life sentences in other cases.

The Special Court had to take a decision on the petitions, the sources said.

Prison sources said two sets of uniforms had been given to all convicts. Prison authorities were also identifying areas for assigning work to convict prisoners.
