Acharya Narender Dev remembered

NEW DELHI: Senior functionaries of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi paid glowing tributes to Acharya Narender Dev, founder of “Social Welfare Revolution” in India, on his 118th birth anniversary earlier this week.

Mayor Arti Mehra said: “Acharya Narender Dev dedicated his entire life for the welfare of the downtrodden sections of society. He was a great scholar, social reformer, orator, statesman and outstanding patriot. His philosophy and ideals are worth emulating even today.”
