Seminar on food sovereignty

BANGALORE: The Society for Voluntary Action, Revitalisation and Justice (SVARAJ) and the Green Foundation are jointly organising a two-day seminar on “Food sovereignty: Can it be a reality for India?”, at the National Institute of Advanced Studies here from Friday. Bharati Patel, director of SVARAJ and Vanaja Ramprasad, director of Green Foundation, told presspersons here that the seminar would provide a platform to discuss issues arising from farming practices and research in farming systems in south India. — Staff Reporter
