JAIPUR: Non-government organisations leaving halfway any work under the District Poverty Initiative Programme (DPIP) in Rajasthan will be blacklisted and not be given any task in other departments as well. State Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Kalulal Gujjar said at a meeting of the DPIP Governing Council here that only NGOs which had completed the previous task assigned to them would be given the work under the project’s second phase.Mr. Gujjar said the utilisation certificates submitted by NGOs would be carefully examined to find out the efficacy of their work. An action plan for implementation of DPIP’s second phase has been sent to the Centre for its approval. Targets to be metThe Minister said all efforts would be made to complete the World Bank-assisted DPIP in the stipulated time-frame till December 31 this year by utilising the funds allocated and achieving the targets set under each phase.
