Knowledge panel report discussion on Sunday

HUBLI: Nearly 1,500 college teachers are expected to participate in a national-level conference on “The Report of the National Knowledge Commission” to be held in Hubli on Sunday.
Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, president of the Karnatak University College Teachers’ Association (KUCTA) and zonal secretary of All India Federation of University and College Teachers’ Organisations (AIFUCTO) Lingaraj Angadi said that along with the national conference, the 28th general body meeting of KUCTA would be held at the Rambhapuri Jagadguru Viragangadhara Community Hall, Vidyanagar, Hubli.
Thomas Joseph, president, All India Federation of University and College Teachers’ Organisations (AIFUCTO), and M.M. Narahari, president of Federation of University and College Teachers’ Associations of Karnataka (FUCTAK), would present papers on the report of the National Knowledge Commission, he said.
Focus
The conference would focus on the issues concerning the report submitted by the National Knowledge Commission.
The national conference would be inaugurated by the former Primary and Secondary Education Minister, Basavaraj S. Horatti.
