HYDERABAD: Several places in Telangana received heavy rainfall on Thursday even as the flood-hit areas in Nellore, Kadapa, Prakasam and Chittoor districts began to limp back to normalcy.
Decrease
The present wet spell that drenched the South Andhra for four days, however, is likely to peter out in a day or two from the State as the low pressure system, the cause of all this, weakened further.
The State Metereology Office here forecast a decrease in rainfall over the State on Friday. Nellore district received 300 mm of rainfall during the three days of the spell.
