Panels to be formed for shopping fete

Kochi: Taluk-level committees will be formed for the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival, according to District Collector A.P.M. Mohammed Hanish.

Local representatives, MLAs, representatives of the traders will constitute the committee. The target is to get about 15,000 traders to register for the festival by November 15.

The district is expected to get a good turnover during the festival. Of the Rs.250 crore expected turnover, Rs.125 crore is expected from Ernakulam.
