Special trains to Nagercoil, Tuticorin

CHENNAI: Southern Railway is to run special trains to Nagercoil and Tuticorin to clear extra rush of passengers during Deepavali and the winter season.

Train (0609) will leave Chennai Egmore at 11.15 pm on November 3 and reach Nagercoil at 2.15 pm the next day.

Train (0606) will leave Nagercoil at 7.40 pm on November 5 and 12 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 9.30 am the next day. In the return direction, train (0605) will leave Chennai Egmore at 3.15 pm on November 6 and 13 and reach Nagercoil at 5.30 am the next day.

Train (0607) will leave Chennai Egmore at 10.45 pm on Saturdays from November 10 to January 5 and reach Tuticorin at 12.15 pm the next day.

In the return direction, train (0608) will leave Tuticorin at 9.15 pm on Sundays from November 11 to January 6 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 10 am the next day.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on November 2 (Friday), according to a Southern Railway press release.
