CBI team visits Todi’s residence

Staff Reporter

Kolkata: Central Bureau of Investigation officials on Thursday visited the residence of businessman Ashok Todi here in connection with the alleged murder of his 30-year-old son-in-law Rizwanur Rahman. The CBI team is believed to have questioned members of the Todi family. On Wednesday, the CBI interrogated Mr. Todi.

Brinda Karat, Polit Bureau member of the CPI(M), said stringent action should be taken against those responsible for Rahman’s death. “We salute the people of Kolkata for standing up on behalf of Rizwanur’s family and also express our solidarity with his mother Kishwar Jahan,” she said at the 8th National Conference of AIDWA here.
