IT returns: last date extended

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the last date of filing returns for income tax and fringe benefit tax by companies and firms with turnover of more than Rs. 40 lakh. Returns through the electronic mode can be filed by November 15 and in physical form by Nov. 2.
