BIJAPUR: BLDE Association’s B.M. Patil College has launched “Annapoorna”, a free meal scheme for the benefit of patients in its 1,000-bed hospital. Deputy Commissioner V.B. Patil, who inaugurated the scheme, lauded the hospital for its social commitment. The association president, M.B. Patil, said as many as 750 beds had been allotted for poor patients at the hospital and that the free meal scheme would go a long way in helping them. Mr. Patil also announced construction of a 250-bed super speciality hospital on the campus soon — Staff Correspondent
